MR600 — Methods of Metaphysical Research

This section introduces the methodologies, documentation systems, and observational practices used in Mystical Research.

Orientation

Orientation

Research within the Mystical Research Academy is conducted through structured documentation and disciplined observation. The MR600 classification introduces the methods used to record, analyze, and organize metaphysical inquiry.

These methodologies allow experiences, insights, and symbolic observations to be documented with clarity, consistency, and research integrity.

The foundation of this system is the Adapted Metaphysical Citation Guide (AMCG), which provides a structured approach to recording and referencing non-traditional forms of knowledge.

Level: Intermediate / Applied Methodology

AMCG Overview

The Adapted Metaphysical Citation Guide (AMCG)

AMCG provides a structured method for documenting metaphysical observations, transmissions, dreams, rituals, and conventional sources. By assigning each insight to a clearly defined container, researchers ensure that ideas remain traceable, contextualized, and retrievable.

This system bridges spiritual inquiry with scholarly discipline.

Core AMCG Containers

 AMCG Container System

All observations must be placed within a defined container.

Transmission
Oral or channeled material recorded during conscious reception.

Dream Log
Dated dream records with symbolic indexing.

Field / Timeline Log
Observational entries documenting events, environments, and contextual coordinates.

Ritual / Protocol
Stepwise procedures involving symbolic actions, materials, or timing.

Conventional Source
Books, articles, and media requiring traditional citation.

Field Notes

Field Notes: Capturing Raw Observation

Field notes represent the primary documentation method used in metaphysical research. These entries record direct observations, symbolic experiences, environmental patterns, and reflective insights.

Field notes should be recorded immediately after an observation occurs in order to preserve the integrity of the experience.

Each entry typically includes:

• Date and time
• Location or contextual environment
• Observed event or symbolic experience
• Interpretation notes (optional)

Session Documentation

Session Documentation for Practitioners

For practitioners working with clients or conducting structured sessions such as meditation, hypnosis, or symbolic interpretation, documenting the session can help preserve meaningful insights.

Session documentation may include:

• The client’s original question
• Key symbolic moments during the session
• Observations related to emotional or symbolic shifts

Mystical Report Briefs

Mystical Report Briefs (Optional Practice Tool)

A Mystical Report Brief is a concise summary created after a session or investigation. These reports highlight the original question, key moments of insight, and symbolic themes that emerged during the experience.

While optional, this practice allows researchers and practitioners to track patterns across sessions and identify recurring symbolic structures.

Research Responsibility & Ethical Observation

Our Mission

Responsible metaphysical research requires clarity, discipline, and integrity in observation. The AMCG system ensures that insight is preserved within its original context while allowing patterns to emerge through structured documentation over time.

Students and researchers are encouraged to maintain accurate field records, apply these methodologies consistently, and approach all inquiry with awareness, accountability, and respect for the process.

In this system, experience is not assumed — it is recorded, examined, and understood.

Guiding Principles

• Observe without distortion
• Record without assumption
• Interpret with awareness
• Revisit with clarity

AMCG FIELD NOTE — EXAMPLE + DESCRIPTION

Example Field Note

Example Field Note

The following example demonstrates how an experience can be documented using the AMCG structure.

Notice the distinction between observation and interpretation. The goal is not to assign meaning immediately, but to record clearly so that meaning can emerge over time.
